After cycling from London to Paris in 2013, and across Spain from Biarritz to Barcelona last year, this year our Director of Projects, David Beggs, is gearing up to Cycle from Redhill to Bruges as part of the YMCA East Surrey Annual charity cycle.
On Saturday 6th June, the team will begin their epic cycle to the historic and beautiful city of Bruges. After leaving Redhill bright and early at 4am, the team will cycle to Dover in time to catch the 12pm ferry to Dunkirk, before completing the last leg to Bruges, in time for aperitifs. An impressive 160 miles will be cycled within 14 hours.
The YMCA East Surrey offers various programmes to help people of all ages develop to their full potential, including activities such as sport, childcare, youth work and housing. YMCA’s programmes strive to be inclusive – catering for people who are unfortunately experiencing disadvantage, disability and ill health.
