A team of senior staff at leading communications services provider KCOM Group is taking on the challenge of cycling from Venice to Genoa in October this year.
As one of KCOM’s long term partners, with the third project currently underway, we are proud to be key sponsors of this charity event to help KCOM reach their goal.
The team of 20 will cycle more than 330 miles within 4 days in order to complete this challenge, hoping to raise over £40,000 for Sparks.
Sparks is a UK based charity which raises money to fund pioneering children’s medical research. Their projects find ways to diagnose, treat and prevent conditions in the four key areas of pregnancy and birth, first months of life, infancy and early childhood and rare childhood diseases. The charity has been running since 1991, having funded more than 270 ground-breaking research projects, totalling £27 million in around 80 hospitals, universities and research institutions across the UK and Overseas.
