In September 2020, Telent was awarded a contract across a number of UK locations to support Openreach’s £12 billion commercial investment in upgrading the UK to faster, more reliable, future-proof broadband. At 1 Gbps, ultrafast broadband is up to ten times faster than the average home broadband connection. That means better quality video calls, faster downloads and higher resolution movie streaming for thousands of homes. Openreach’s build plan will be fundamental to the UK Government achieving its target of delivering ‘gigabit capable’ broadband to 85% of the UK by 2025.
Following Managementors’ recent successful engagement with Telent’s Doncaster Depot, Managementors was invited to support the transformation of Telent’s Plymouth Depot, which mobilised in 2021 and is located just outside of Saltash. The Managementors team have been working with the Depot’s Delivery and Project teams to enhance the works planning and delivery processes and identify and remove blockers impacting performance, in order to put the Depot in the best possible position for success.
