Leading infrastructure and building maintenance company centralises operations to accomplish business advantage

Today Managementors closed out a major transformation project on behalf of a large UK infrastructure and building maintenance company that took the decision to centralise and relocate its property services operations in Cardiff, London and other regional offices to a brand-new operations centre in Manchester.

Commenting on the achievement, Ken Leech, Managing Director of Managementors, said: “Six months ago the building was an empty shell – today it is taking 1,000 calls a day and scheduling over 700 engineers. It has been a challenge to get the processes developed and the structure in place to support these but it has been worth it – the business will see substantial improvements in performance from this and make some significant financial savings.”

A 10-strong team of consultants from Managementors has been working alongside client teams. As well as developing new processes, implementing a new scheduling system and an integrated management operating system, the team delivered a significant amount of coaching to support newly appointed managers fulfil their roles.
