Earlier this month the Managementors team embarked on a trip to the idyllic region of Poitou-Charentes in South West France for the second year running. The annual summer conference gives the opportunity to not only gain more of an insight into the work of each division, but also provides the opportunity to catch up with colleagues.
During the early part of the conference each Practice presented a performance overview of the year so far, as well as providing updates and findings from recent research projects. The first day finished with everyone heading down to the Charente river for some very wet team building!
The second part of the conference then moved towards formulating Practice and divisional targets, together with plans and actions for the rest of the year. After the intensity of the formal conference sessions a competitive element was added through the introduction of a ‘sports afternoon’, where team spirit was energetically and riotously displayed!
The conference ended with some free time and a celebratory meal at a local restaurant prior to everyone heading home, fully charged and ready to meet the challenges the rest of the year will hold.
