This year we decided to ask our employee’s to each nominate a charity that’s close to their heart. Amongst the multiple charities put forward that all support extremely worthy causes, one charity was selected for us to collectively support as business throughout 2023.
Our chosen charity, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity works hard to raise money for the world-leading cancer centre, The Royal Marsden. The money raised by their supporters contributes towards life-saving research and world-leading treatment and care.
The charity has had a particularly significant impact on one of our consultants’ lives. Here’s what he had to say about his experience:
“The Royal Marsden is one of those places that believe in second opinions. Along with trying every experimental cancer treatment under their roof, that’s the reason why I was able to spend another 4 years with my Mum after being given 10 days. It’s impossible for me to portray how much I value what they did for her, but to have us support them for 2023 is a magnificent opportunity to give back. I am truly looking forward to giving back as much as possible to this wonderful Charity and getting involved as much I can.”

This generous support in 2023 will help us to fund state-of-the-art equipment, the very best patient environments and groundbreaking research to help transform the lives of cancer patients at The Royal Marsden and beyond.”
