For this year’s Summer Conference, the Managementors team took a trip to Brockenhurst in the New Forest. This was a great opportunity for the whole company to get together, review the first half of the year and plan for the coming months. A very busy three days consisted of presentations, planning, catching up with what various departments had been doing, along with some additional fun challenges along the way.
The biggest challenge of all, which came as a surprise to the majority of the company, was a trip across the Solent to the Isle of Wight on a rib! Employees were split into two teams: Operations vs Sales. After a very wet and windy trip to the Isle of Wight, competitiveness took charge as the two teams raced off to complete photograph challenges and quiz questions, whilst discovering landmarks along the way. The trip gave Operations and Sales the chance to catch up, bond and work together as a team, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. Once back on dry land, the winning team was revealed and medals were awarded, with Sales being victorious!
The following day, the team re-grouped after a well-deserved rest, had a morning of presentations and brainstorming, and then participated in the next team challenge. It was Operations against Sales once again, this time in an archery competition. This proved lots of fun and showed who you’d rather not play William Tell with! The Sales team were triumphant again… until next time Operations!
The Summer Conference was a great way to bring the whole company together, work hard but also play hard, and plan for a busy rest of 2017.
