As part of our continued drive to give back to the community and make a positive difference to the lives of others, the Managementors team recently joined local charity, Thrive, for a rewarding day of helping out with various tasks around their Reading centre.
Thrive is a leading UK based charity that brings profound positive change to people living with physical and mental disabilities through therapeutic gardening and horticulture programmes.
The day with Thrive provided a great opportunity for us to work together as a team outside of our usual working environment. Everyone quickly got stuck into the digging, weeding, strimming and painting whilst getting to know Thrive’s clients and learning about how the charity has changed their lives.
After such a fulfilling first experience, we have another volunteering day booked later in the year for the rest of the Managementors team, which we’re very much looking forward to!
