In early June our Director of Projects, David Beggs, took part in the YMCA Redhill to Paris cycle ride. This is a sponsored annual event to help raise money for the ‘Reigate and Redhill YMCA’ charity.
The charity offers various programmes to help people of all ages to develop to their full potential, including activities such as sport, childcare, youth work and housing. YMCA’s programmes strive to be inclusive – catering for people who are unfortunately experiencing disadvantage, disability and ill health.
David and his team cycled 170 miles over 3 days, following quiet and picturesque routes through pretty French villages, finishing together at the Eiffel Tower for a night to recover in Paris, before travelling back on a much bigger and comfier seat on the Eurostar!
David says “Thanks to everyone who sponsored me on my trip to Paris. We all made it and arrived in Paris hot and tired!”
All of us at Managementors congratulate David for having completed this challenge, and having currently raised £687, which is an impressive £187 above his target.
