As the current football season draws to a close on an incredible return to the Premier League for our partner Wolverhampton Wanderers, a joint team of Managementors staff and clients took part in the annual Wolves Golf Day. Hosted under blue skies on the immaculate Championship course at Hawkstone Park in Shrewsbury, it was a day to savour.
With prizes being presented by star striker Raul Jimenez for the best individual and team performance, as well as the longest drive, closest to the pin and beat the pro, the team began the day full of optimism of bringing home some silverware! Sadly 6 holes in errant drives, thinned chip shots and some woeful putting put paid to any giddy expectations, but the day was hugely enjoyable for all involved nonetheless.
As our Practice Director Charlie Burtt neatly summarised, “The event was superbly hosted by the corporate team at Wolves, which provided a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with clients outside the usual office environment. Whilst its disappointing we came back empty handed, there is plenty of time to get some practice in ahead of next year! Up the Wolves!”
