Earlier this month, the University of Reading held a Graduate Recruiter Event, which two of the Managementors team attended. Hosted by the University’s Careers Service, the event included key talks from their Vice-Chancellor, Sir David Bell, the CEO of Institute of Student Employers, Stephen Isherwood and their Director of Careers and Employability, Dr Andrea Kreideweiss.
The event gave an opportunity for recruitment professionals to share their best practice and to find out more about the University and the support that is on offer to employers. There were three roundtable discussions on ‘Bridging the Gap between University and the World of Work’, ‘Attractive Strategies for Millenials and Generation Z’ and ‘Challenges of Graduate Hire Retention.’ These roundtable discussions proved very useful and gave the Managementors team valuable tools and advice that will be put into practice when recruiting for Managementors latest vacancy for a Trainee Management Consultant.
This position is an exciting opportunity to join the team, grow the business and become an integral part of the company. The role starts out in the telesales department, making initial contact with C-level decision makers and progresses to becoming a consultant, working on client site and helping to achieve business improvement results. Managementors are keen to hear from graduates who have undertaken some form of full time employment and are now looking to develop a career within management consultancy.
